My girlfriend will usually do the talking unless I feel like it. She understands that it's not just stuttering, but physical difficulty speaking. I think that's the thing everyone always overlooks. If it was just stuttering, it would almost be whatever. A lot of us probably could talk without stuttering much, but it would be very drawn out and unnatural sounding.
