It wasn't from my doctor sadly. I have told my doctor about my stuttering and axienty problems (anxiety has been fixed) and all she did was prescribe me anti-depressants although I was interested in trying different medications. Right before this, I had also started taking kratom which unlike most opiates, made my stuttering worse. Now that I think about it, kratom does have a chemical in it that is a stimulant so it may have been affecting dopamine the same way ritalin / concerta affects it. I was really hyped up for trying concerta when my friend told me he had it because I thought it might actually fix it. The reason why I thought this was because caffeine would help make my stuttering go away and I thought that maybe if I tried a stronger stimulant, it might be better. In the end, it did not work out. I may try d-amphetamine since it is a dopamine releaser instead of solely being a dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Also, modafinil sounds intersting
