I went to speech therapy for years as a kid. It didn't significantly help (the 80's were not a great time for speech therapy) but the biggest take away I got from it was paternal involvement. My parents were great and we did the exercises at home every day. Their help and involvement made me feel like I wasn't alone. Be engaged with your daughter and her therapist, do the therapy at home as a family and show her support.
