I have stuttered my whole life. My brother stutters, mom did for a short time, I have two uncles that also stutter. My fear was one of my four children would also. I had one son that did. It was bad when he was young. We did speech together. I learned to read and slow my speech and tone with him. I never allowed anyone to interrupt when he spoke which was I believe an issue for myself and brother who stuttered when we were growing up. My son does not stutter now. I have learned to change up words, try to slow my speech. At age 60 it is still frustrating
