I make a joke once in a while whenever I'm asked "How did you end up stuttering?". I joke that instead of learning a second language growing up from my parents, I learned how to stutter. My mother stutters the exact same way that I do. The same letters (mostly S R and M sounds). I don't remember stuttering until I was in the 6th grade.
