Had a job interview 3 weeks ago. The job was my dream job, so i was very nervous and it was just my 2nd interview in my hole life. So not very experienced in this situation. I am german and it was a german country. I was welcomed by my interviewer and we smalltalked and get a coffee. No stuttering at all. Then he said, the interview will be in english with the head of department from stockholm. Yeah... My worst nightmare, unprepared, spontaneously in english and i am not the best english-speaker. And so was my stutter. It was hard. After the first questions, the guys said to me, that i shouldnt be so nervous and i told them about my stutter. My stuttering was still bad. But yeah, i was frustrated after this. But we had a interesting talk and they liked me, but my stuttering... I dont know, It´s a very communicative job as an analyst in a international team. Last week they called me and told me, i get the job :) And it was really suprising for me. For the interviewer It was more important to be yourself and be pleasant and know your skills, than talking fluent.
