My fianciée is 5 months pregnant and I stutter too. I worry about this sometimes, but I'm the only one in my family who has it. No idea about you, so it's not certain your kid wil inherit. Nevertheless, we live in very modern times. I don't know how old you are, but I'm 30 and they know a lot more about stuttering now than they did back when I was little. So even if your kid inherited it, there could be a great chance he/she can get almost (or even completely) get rid of it with the right speech therapy. Better start as soon as possible then.
