It's been said before on here, but there's no doubt that the worry and anxiety that stuttering instills in you is far worse than the actual stuttering itself. It really takes a toll on your mind. One of the nice things about college (sophomore here) is that I'm so busy either going to class, studying, shopping, going to the gym, or doing stuff with my roommate (who has really helped me to come out of my shell), that I just don't have time to sit around and worry about my stutter. All I have time to do now is talk and socialize. Of course I still stutter. I just don't worry so much about it now. And that makes a HUGE difference.
