Tech can help! Hey everyone in r/stuttering, I'm a longtime stutterer myself, and after years of dealing with it, I discovered the IMPOCO method (from a French coach named Ivan Impoco) back in 2013 \[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AzdGA0SSEU\]. It completely changed my life, breaking words into syllables, syncing with physical movements that start big and get subtler over time (like "gears"). The key is consistency; it worked for everyone in my group who stuck with it, but some dropped off due to laziness or doubt. Now, I'm turning this into a startup: developing an affordable handheld device (\~$50/unit) that vibrates to provide feedback during practice and real-life use, paired with an AI app for guided exercises (such as karaoke-style reading with color-coded syllables). It's discreet, helps build the habit, and tracks progress to keep you motivated. My goal is to make this globally available and help millions manage stuttering on a daily basis. To make this a reality, I'm actively looking for co-founders (e.g., in tech, health, or business) and investors who believe in scaling proven methods with tech. If you're passionate about this space or have experience in startups, let's connect. I'd love to chat about partnering up!
