Hey there! I never did any therapy until 22 or so, which was short lived. Where I live, it costs $200+ out of pocket and I couldn't afford it at the time. It did help me at the time, I kinda wish I'd stuck with it. Am now 36, stutter is largely the same with some worsening syllables and blocking. I think mentally I've come to accept it better. If you can afford it, I'd advocate for speech therapy. But know that its not the be all and end all, you're still valued, loved and worthy no matter how you speak. Good luck x
