Speech therapy was a waste of money and time for me. I spent thousands of dollars. Even if you do see progress, it won’t be for a while, so you can get extremely unmotivated. Many actors stutter, interestingly enough. The late Robin Williams has a stutter, as does Rowan Atkinson. Notice how both use accents. Accents have been known to cause you to be “fluent.” I say go for your dream. You never know what’ll happen until you try!
