Years back I was having surgery/treatment at Sloan Kettering and some random Manhattan psychiatrist visited my room. Noticing my stutter, he gave a big spiel about the promising research he’s seen indicating Zyprexa’s success in reducing stuttering severity. This guy was intelligent, citing studies, and made a convincing case...Ultimately, thinking “why not try?, I agreed to give it a try. (If only there were a miracle pill...). Anyway, I took that shit for around 3 months, and ended up gaining like 25 pounds along with a handful of other, lesser side-effects. In fact, I became even less fluent during those 3 or so months. So, no, I would not recommend it. Until there’s more research, I wouldn’t touch that shit.
