I don’t think “I wouldn’t cure my stuttering if I could” is mental illness. Some people just acknowledge that every aspect of themselves have made them who they are and led them to the path that they are on now, and that they wouldn’t want to change anything because every struggle has given them their own unique experience and perspective. Maybe that’s just a level of self acceptance that you aren’t ready to handle.
