When you were a child, what were some things you wished your parents would have done or did do that helped you with stuttering? Pretty self explanatory title. We have a 9 year old with other delays but he also stutters. Although, we never see him discouraged or frustrated. I know it has to be sometimes. He already sees a therapist for medical trauma. I want to make sure his needs are being met both mentally and physically. I read posts on this sub, that are absolutely heartbreaking to me as a mother. And even though I don’t know you personally, please know the world is a better place with you in it! Even when it feels as if no one is listening to you because you stutter. Whether stuttering is your only disability, or if you have plethora of delays (like my son) know that there are people in this world that love you and care about your mental health. ❤️❤️ (I know emojis are frowned upon on here but these hearts are for you!)
