What’s your take on taking psychedelics?

What’s your take on taking psychedelics? I was listening to the book Tools of Titans by tim ferris. There was a whole section on psychedelics he mentioned. One of them caught my attention. It was Ayahuasca. It’s a ritual done by shaman. One drinks a psychedelic liquid. This ritual is done to purge something bad happened from birth to four year old which is causing personality or psychological disorder today. It sounded exactly like stutter. I don’t remember what exactly caused my stutter but it started in that very period. I want to know if anyone used this or any other ritual/psychedelics to better their speech game?
