Stuttering more when in casual conversations with people you aren't super close to? I've noticed after this weekend that I have waaaaaaay more blocks when I'm talking about casual things with people like supervisors, professors, or other people who aren't strangers, but aren't friends either. This weekend I spent every hour with my girl-interest person, and I didn't have but maybe 3 blocks. I felt like I was confident in what I was saying. However, today after a business meeting reception, people were standing around drinking and talking, and when I was asked something like, "how's your schools football program looking for this fall?" I could barely get anything out.
