Wow, I didn't expect to find a fellow speedskater in this subreddit. Speedskating is such a great way to forget everything. It's just the music in your ear an the swoosh of your wheels. I compete in a couple of races every year. The scene in germany isn't verry big, so you meet the same guys on and off. I've found a few friends this way. In march I'm going on a 2 weeks long vacation. A training camp for speedskater. I'm looking forward to meet so many new guys.
