Stress hormones (adrenaline, cortisol, estrogen), serotonin, and lactic acid can worsen stuttering. Sugar, caffeine, and salt are generally good for lowering stress hormones, niacinamide and a low intestinal-irritation laden diet lower serotonin, and vitamin B1 lowers lactic acid.
