Yeah, that's a common recommendation. I kinda feel like it applies more to nonstutterers than to stutterers though, since it's not a "tool" as such. It's just a trick that _might_ work - but as I'm sure others will agree with me in here, sometimes it doesn't help at all. We can then repeat the trick, to see if it works then, but we can't rely on it to solve our stutter (of course, if there are those who find it works all the time, that's fortunate - for them).
