Tips? Advice? I have had a stutter basically my whole life, i wouldn't call it "severe" I started working for a good company in my area 4 years ago. Started in the outgoing mailroom and quickly learned the job and then moved onto assisting the technician make repairs to our machines. I originally wanted to become a police officer but that went down the drain because of my speech. So with that in mind i started looking into my company's IT dept, knowing that i had somewhat of a knack for computers and technical stuff in general. Now i get what amounts to a tryout for IT in just a few weeks taking help desk calls for a lady going on maternity leave. I am freaking that my goddamned speech will blow this opportunity for me. Any advice people?
