It’s so hard to talk about something that other people cannot understand. The anxiety of ordering or asking for help, and the shame of fucking up a simple sentence. The best thing that has got me through college and my relationships is admitting that I have a speech impediment to my close colleagues and friends. It’s been super helpful to not hide behind tricks to get sentences out. I still get nervous and have good and bad days but I remind myself that tomorrow will be better. I don’t know you but I believe in you. Keep your head up.
