> To that end, find a speech therapist, practice techniques, practice breathing, and keep talking. Our stutter doesn't control us, that's bullshit. We control it, we control how we respond to it. It's never going to be easy, but few things in life are. Just wanted to emphasize this part. As you've described your situation OP, it seems like a big hurdle for you is the mind set. And trust me, I KNOW how hard this is to get right. Sometimes it happens just by circumstance and being put in situations where you need to "sink or swim", and sometimes you'll need some help from a professional. And that's OKAY. There's no shame in seeing a therapist to help work through this issue, Keep your head up. We're rooting for you.
