Oh I do this! When I was interviewing earlier this year, I’d have a glass of wine before my interviews. It calmed my nerves and gave me a bit of a confidence boost. My interviews went amazing! That’s the only time I’ll use alcohol for work. If I have to run a meeting or give a presentation, I just power through…especially since these tasks are a big part of my job - I can’t just drink all day/everyday. But interviews? I fully support taking a shot to take the edge off. This is a first impression that you can’t afford to mess up. It sucks but is also true. Good luck!
