Not celebrities, but plenty of examples of people who stuttered very visibly, who were on tv and no longer do. A good example is the Australian regional director for the McGuire Programme, Denis Wright. I am a McGuire Aussie graduate and hear him speak often and still amazed his stutter was so much more severe than I thought mine was.
