Chemical engineer here with a very managed stutter. I do high tech facility designs and I work with numerous clients, contractors, and various other engineers. I've stuttered embarrassingly in front of a presentation or speaking in the group numerous times. No one seems to mind nor even notice. What's absolutely more important is speaking slowly, clearly, and intelligently. I take time to prep before meetings to know the agenda, understand what's being presented, and knowledgeable of the upcoming questions. This helps me to mentally anticipate blocks. Overall this is much more impressive to the client and gives much greater confidence to our clients.
