RN here, get after it! This profession has done a lot for my speech, it's probably better than it's ever been - I still have my less-than-great days, I stop and explain if I have a block and carry on. I've yet to have anyone react negatively to that explanation. It humanizes you in an otherwise sterile environment, which I think patients actually really appreciate. More importantly though, congrats on pursuing a great career!
