Yes , I am an Indian applying to some prestigious institutions here coz they are economical . The second part is true though , they don't know the difference between slow people and disabled/specially abled people despite India probably having the highest number of disabled people of all complications. Generally , here in India , we do our undergraduate from good schools and then on basis of college transcripts apply to some good schools abroad to do an M.S. , MRes. Or PhD . I have kind of heard the same but at this point Immigration for a student also is getting tougher in many countries and Foreign Education for an International student with aid will be around 2-3 times the fees here , not to mention the exorbitant amount of living costs needed to sustain a particular lifestyle thus I had keenly decided not to put a financial burden on my parents who plan to retire and apply only to schools with high scholarships or low fees . Thanks for your concern , appreciate that someone recognizes my issue and is apt with it .
