I had a buddy in high school who stuttered. He went to another school and we would only see each other at band events, but we each did a lot of those sorts of things. I saw him often. Twice we went to a 2 week long honor band camp together in the summer and were roommates there. His stutter was a little worse than mine, and more of a classic stutter that people think of. Mine is more of the block type. Both of ours got WAY worse around each other, but we found it comical. it’d take us 20 minutes to have a 5 minute conversation 😂😂 Miss that dude. He’s an incredible musician who got out of small town, rural Mississippi and is now a thriving jazz drummer in DC.
