For those of you who don't already know (from the wider stuttering community, associations etc.) I stutter too, and I just wrote John's biography - it's rare to have a mainstream book about a stutterer, by a stutterer, but it's coming out in Feb. John's life is a really incredible story of how he nearly died from drug and alcohol abuse (to avoid stuttering) and ended up turning it into his greatest asset. He was also a 100% awesome human and helped me hugely when I was a young teenager in poor mental health because I stuttered. If you don't know anything about him please look him up!
