My company first sergeant told me I had the authorization to say/yell motherfucker or fucking during training if it helped. So I got permission to drop the F bomb officially for having a stutter which is kinda badass I suppose. I had the opportunity yesterday to throw a M67 Frag Grenade, and after being taught all the procedures for prepping it etc. We were given three practice grenade that “explode” but really just a small plume of smoke. Anyways, I stepped up into the pit with the combat instructor and I kept stuttering over “Frag Out!” which you have to yell before lobbing it. On the last grenade I just went fuck it and screamed “Motherfucking Frag Ouuut!” fluently without issue, when I got up all the combat instructors had gathered around and were dying laughing. Then the combat instructors spoke with me about my stutter and asked me about it. I told them someone who stutters handling high explosives sounds like something you would see in a comedy which they all had a good laugh, which really is kinda funny honestly. I don’t know if that’s funny or not, but it’s definitely amusing to me at least. You kind of just have to have a sense of humor about it
