Having more control over your mind Hello, so I saw a post that talked about how in order to stop anticipating a word that you will stammer over, you need more control over your brain. I have noticed that because I have had some bad experiences, I always tend to think the worse of a situation. Throughout my school life, I have always participated in my class and never really felt insecure about my stutter. Because I didn’t think about I barely blocked. But now I am somehow more insecure about my stutter and I am failing to train my brain to stop anticipating which is making me fail in every communication exercise. Any tips on how to stop anticipating and having more control over your brain?
