Who is on the right?

Who is on the right? I would really appreciate your opinion on the below. One of my (former) close friends (“Andrew”; fictitious name) has autism and stutter, and once asked me if a mutual friend (“Tina”; again, fictitious name) had ever said anything about him (not about his autism and/or stutter specifically; about anything). At the time she hadn’t, but later she made several negative comments and I told him, since he had originally asked me to be honest. One of the things she said touched on was about his stuttering, and I shared this with him: “Andrew always sits like an idiot on the corner, and whenever he opens his mouth to talk, I cannot understand a word of what he says, as he doesn’t know how to speak like normal people.” Two years later, Andrew confronted both of us in a group chat saying those words seriously affected his mental health, mentioned hospitalization, and even said that if we kept denying things (we did, admittedly, initially) he would involve his mum. He was also upset that I had previously denied being the one who told him. I reacted angrily and sent this message: “The fact that you are coming back after all this time to corupt a friendfship between Tina and myself is completely unfair!! You have no right to threaten me or Tina in any way! If i did said anything to you is because you wanted confirmation about it! I am not the kind of person thats gonna give false information to create this unessecary fuss !!! It’s too childish for me to even acknowledge the fact that you from a very deciplined family and good hearts and smart people accusing me and my friend of destroying someone’s health just by words!!! Are you freaking kidding me ? I ve never been a bitch!! But you are bring it out now!!! But i am having the time of life with a new completely fresh start…! And because i wanna be the bigger person … I will say this , i apologize for my actions , my words and my misinformation about anything said or did!!! I apologize for being not truthful to you but the thing is i never thought that all this could come back and hit me like that!!! And i have no say as to what you feel and what makes sense to you better!! I dont wanna have any misunderstandings with anyone… So now i come here, and officially apologize to the words i said …… I can see now that i caused a lot of damage!!! We were young and foolish, thinking that nobody could say anything to us !! I am sorry for my actions!!!! But to tell you the truth i am moving farward, and i am happy and excited about my new chapter in life! And i dont wanna go back to my past and drama!!! I am completely, from the bottom of my heart deeply sorry , i apologize for everything and i will take the whole blame for the whole thing!!!!” I never intended to hurt him, and I would have never sent the above message (which I truly appreciate it was harsh, and I truly regretted sending it), but it feels unfair that he accuses me when he was the one who had approached me about whether words had been said about him behind his back … so, albeit he never asked for his stuttering per se (it was a generic question if anything had been said by Tina), I find it unfair that he accused me for impacting his mental health … since he asked me about whether words had been said about him, he should be willing to hear anything. Albeit, surely, and thinking about it more maturely now, I should have omitted the word-to-word comments about his stuttering. Whilst we all did mistakes in the whole story, if you had to side with someone in this scenario who would that be? Andrew or myself?
