This is the best comment I have ever seen in this subreddit. My mum was similar like the OP´s and I sometimes really didnt like her because of that. But I think your view could represent pretty well all these types of mums. They are hard on us but they really only want the best for their child, even though they cant be as supportive as we would wish. Thanks
