Did all those people try psychotherapy every week, combined with exercises designed by psychotherapists, for 1 year? 99.99% of people did not. If they tried anything, it's usually speech therapy that's not designed for stuttering, because they believe what you write here to be true. No sensation of fear of stuttering. Ultimate freedom after 28 years. If I read your post, I wouldn't give it a try — I would just accept it, haha. Don't shed fear among people. Stuttering is curable. I personally know 3 people that fully overcame it, and I’ve met like 5 people total in my life who have stuttered. Two of those three had Lyme, and after a regime of antibiotics and 6 years of therapy, they regained fluency. There must be 100 more ways to beat this, but in all instances other than severe brain injury, it's probably doable.
