10000000000000000000%. I'm a complete loner tbh which is sad because naturally I'm quite an outgoing person. I've had a ton of instances where people laughed in my face whilst I stammered or at the very least had smirked. I haven't found socialising fun as I don't feel comfortable (a) because I don't want to embarrass myself (b) speaking just isn't enjoyable when you can't get your words out (c) I don't want to be found boring as I won't be doing a lot of the talking so the convo would probably be on-sided and uninteresting for the other person. But it's not all doom and gloom, we've got to work harder on practising techniques to speak fluently and not let this destroy our social lives.
