You’re right. Stuttering feels so helpless and random that people develop all kinds of beliefs about it. -trauma caused my stutter -if I tap my finger when I say the word I won’t stutter -if I sleep good/ eat my greens etc I won’t stutter -I won’t stutter when I grow up -I can’t get a job / have a relationship/ etc because I stutter -if I practice these techniques in front of a mirror for 45 min every day, I won’t stutter Etc etc etc. At the end of the day, we just stutter…
