Same thing happened to me! I wanted to leave his famous works for last, and was amazed when I saw the book featured a stuttering main character. It was such a pleasant surprise, to see such an accurate representation of feelings towards stuttering, not just a superficial glance at it. It shows Mishima knows what he’s talking about, from a deeper level.
