The more I want to say something, the more I stutter. Is this the case for anyone else?

The more I want to say something, the more I stutter. Is this the case for anyone else? So I recently found a pattern with my stutter which is honestly EXTREMELY comforting because it’s not as variable and random as I’d thought. But for me, I stutter the most when I really WANT to say something. The more I care about the words I’m about to say, the harder I block. When I look back at it, all of the moments I was 100% fluent I didn’t give a shit about my words; I just talked. No thinking in any way was involved; just pure instinctual talking. It’s guaranteed that if I think too hard about what I’m gonna say, I won’t be able to get it out. Is this the case for anyone else? I always wondered why I stutter the hardest when I’m excited and now it makes total sense.
