Hi! I suggest that you message your teacher and let her know you have a stutter. But instead of asking her right away if you can skip reading, explain to her how worried and nervous you are about it and why. It's best to be open about it. If you feel it's impossible for you to face the situation, then tell her you'd prefer not to read aloud this time. This is an article I wrote recently about stuttering. Try reading it, it could help. I'm still working on the ending. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VkSIuu0_fnoRgjzBbb3_L_8zGYpYmzWrIFhodpqYUGA/edit?usp=drivesdk And this is a memoir written by a person who stutters. This could help too- https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VkSIuu0_fnoRgjzBbb3_L_8zGYpYmzWrIFhodpqYUGA/edit?usp=drivesdk From a long term perspective, it might be best to share information about Stuttering with your teacher and let her know what help and support you need in the long term.
