As a former user, its a temporary short term solution. It does the job well but makes you functionally deaf in the ear that it's in. Its not at all something you can wear for long periods of time, like for a day at work. It is useful if you have to give a speech though, but back and forth dialogue will be difficult as a delayed mickey mouse copy of your voice is distracting
