My speech always suffers when I don’t get a quality night’s sleep and if I drink caffeine and/or sugary sodas and foods. I drink a a strong chamomile tea 1 hr before bed and I sleep so much better. If I have a heavy speaking day coming up, I make sure I get an early night and get a solid 8-10 hours sleep.
