I know, but what I am saying is... a very big part of overcoming the worst part of stuttering (the anxiety) is accepting that its part of who you are. And its other peoples job, to respond in an understanding manner. I shouldn't have to apologize for who I am, a person who is a cripple, wouldnt apologize for not being able to walk. People should be writing you emails, to make sure you feel ok. Not the other way around. Its an important thing to remember, never be ashamed
