I didn't unfortunately. Im fluent enough to convince people i speak to of having no speech impediment. However at my new place of work when working the tills there is a script to follow and you must ask customers questions, making it difficult for me. I spoke to my manager about it on my second shift as after my first shift i almost had a breakdown. He was confused but understanding and not long after the entire team leader team was informed. They try their best to not put me on till, but i do it every now and again when i must. Dont stress, people are far more appreciative when youre honest upfront and are likely to be understanding.
