talking about stutter must be the first thing and that you want to finish your own sentences. make them understand that you have the right to communicate same things as non-stutterers, even if you'd have to communicate those things differently. it's like someone with a cane should have access to same spaces as someone who can just walk normally. otherwise, it's discrimination. it's likely that in some meetings, you will encounter an unprofessional individual who thinks they can get away with talking over you or call you a pity hire or something. at best, maybe others will call them out and shut that shit down for you. or at worst case, nobody will stop them and you will have to report them and then they will retaliate and then you will lawyer up and so on, it will be a very draining process even if you win. and that's why you must talk about stutter at your first meetings. it determines whether you will have your allies at later meetings who will shout at unprofessional individuals for you.
