Very sad the Edinburgh Masker stopped being produced. It is a great device that helps most people who stutter. Unfortunately the speech establishment is vehemently against it and wants you to continue using their speech therapists even though they do not help most people. For these problems we have prosthetics (eyeglasses, hearing aids). For stuttering there are marvelous prosthetics that use MAF and DAF. Unfortunately there are always those with inferior devices. Let us hope more of us will have access to the good devices that will enable us to overcome our handicap.
