I have no problem asking my wife for help calling someone or whatever. She's there for me. I try and do all I can on my own, but there are some days where my speaking is really bad. I hope you can be more supportive of your wife while encouraging her on her better days to push herself a bit more. It's hard to make friends as an adult. It's even harder when you stutter. I don't particularly need friends, but it's a big stress for me trying to interact with people socially because of my stutter. So again, it's what you signed up for.
