This is.... a difficult situation. It's not your fault you have a stutter. You need to tell her that. Write her a letter if you have to, express your feelings, but in as a calm and compassionate manner as possible. You need to tell her that it's not always possible to just *stop stuttering*. From personal experience, constant judgement and monitoring of my stuttering only made it worse. Please make sure this doesn't happen to you. You deserve more than that. STUTTERING IS OKAY. Make sure she understands that it will take time, and that if she keeps bringing up fluency around you, it's most likely going to get worse, and make you feel worse. Because of constant judgement. Tell her that having a stutter is okay, nobody is 100% fluent. Having this relationship with her, and your stutter, will only bring a positive environment in order to work on your stutter. At the end of the day, she only wants the best for you in your life. If it makes it easier, just let her read this message. :) Good luck :)
