Kinda proud of myself?

Kinda proud of myself? So I work at a dog grooming salon and it’s nice because I hardly have to talk to people. It was a stressful day so my stutter was more noticeable. I was working on a long haired dachshund at the time, and the lady asked what breed. I IMMEDIATELY rolled my eyes because D is one of my struggle consonants and I stuttered on it. And of course, she laughed and says “what’s a d-da-da-dachshund?”. Usually at work I brush it off (ignorant people are gonna be ignorant) but I snapped back that I have a hard time talking. No apology, (not that I was expecting one) no nothing. Didn’t tip and asked for my name, so I spelled it out for her. So she’ll probably try to book with me again. Even though I felt like shit afterwards, i’m proud of myself for actually saying something. I have a couple of really cool coworkers who do call people out for mocking, laughing etc. about my stutter, but none of them were there at the time. I guess I just wanted to share with y’all who understand.
