The biggest thing is going in with confidence, not being afraid to stutter, and just being yourself. If you show people that your stuttering doesn't bother you, then it won't bother them either. Sometimes I even crack a joke about it and that really lightens the mood or lifts the awkwardness haha. Another big thing that's helped me a ton is this: stop trying *not* to stutter. When you focus on a block or repetition it's just going to get worse. The moment you start stuttering, immediately focus your attention on the next syllable and getting it out smoothly. So focus on the words you're producing smoothly rather than the ones you stutter on. Hope that helps!
