A lot of methods from the book Stuttering & Anxiety Self Cures by Lee G Lovett helped me change my speaking mindset. In the book Lee suggests trying your best to speak before you think too hard about what you’re going to say (its not as easy as it sounds). My therapist also recently taught me a few breathing techniques that really calm my nerves, enabling me to have less anxiety about speaking when I know I have to (breathing in for 4 seconds, then out for 4, repeat). I’m in so way saying these are ways to stop stuttering completely,but they’ve made a significant difference for me personally. I hope this was helpful.
